Going where the tide takes us
meet the crew
Bill Marani - Founder
Affectionately known as the “Beer Money Guy,”
my work on the oyster flats began as a weekend escape
from a demanding sales career. Beer Money Oyster Company started as exactly that — beer money.
The name stuck because it tells the truth: this wasn’t a grand plan, just honest work that grew into a calling.

“Go Where the Tide Takes You” isn’t just a slogan.
It’s a way of living that honors the freedom earned through experience and the quiet confidence to move with whatever comes your way.
We raise exceptional oysters through hard work, humility, and without shortcuts

Quinn Grealis
born and raised in Plymouth, I grew up spending summers in the cold water that grows our oysters. I recently received a degree in Environmental Science from uMass Boston. Tired of the city life - I moved home to help the team keep an ecological perspective on the farm. I love old music, talking sports, and taking a mid shift swim whenever the weather allows (rarely).

Born and raised in Plymouth, I grew up fishing and boating on Cape Cod Bay, where I developed a lifelong love for the water. Spending time outdoors has always been a big part of who I am. In my free time, I enjoy both playing and watching hockey and golf.
Plymouth, MA
With sweeping views of Plymouth, Kingston, and Duxbury,
our farm sits just off the Plymouth Channel, fed by the cold,
nutrient-rich waters of Cape Cod Bay.
Our oysters are raised in bottom-set trays resting on the sea floor, where steady tides naturally tumble them into deep cups and clean, resilient shells.
Each one is handled and graded by hand, with quality inspected at every stage.
